Daniel Lezama

Mexican artist with a naturalist style and flashes of tenebrism. He seeks to allegorically explore the symbols and images in mexican nationalist discourse while he reinterprets them into contemporary contexts. This way he creates a provocative effect that searches for a connection in the collective subconscious. He studied at the San Carlos Academy and was exhibited at Guadalajara, Monterrey, Berlin, New York, and Amsterdam.
